🔥 We had a great session today with a small group of professionals — all chasing the same goal: breaking into cybersecurity and building lasting careers. Here are the main takeaways : Start broad, then go deep — build a T-shaped skillset. Don’t try to master 2 domains at once. Pick one lane. Finish what you start — consistency beats hopping courses. Fundamentals matter: networking, OS, CIA triad, risk basics. Use hands-on labs (TryHackMe, HackTheBox, CTFs). Past experience = leverage. Bring your industry background into cyber. Cloud security is the future. On-prem is shrinking. Networking shortens the job hunt more than any cert. We turned these insights into a full guide to help you go from beginner → junior → advanced. 📖 Read it here We’ll meet again in 2 weeks (Sunday) for the next session. Come ready with your questions. ⚡ Let’s keep pushing forward — careers are built one focused step at a time.
